Ruba Rahim’s journey through the world of food has taken her across nearly 50 countries, shaping the perspective behind Cin Cin.
Guided by an insatiable curiosity and a deep respect for culinary traditions, she has fished for salmon in the rivers of Scotland, shaped wheels of cheese in the hills of Switzerland, baked bread in rural India, and foraged for truffles in the forests of Piedmont. Wherever she goes, Ruba seeks out farmers, producers, home cooks, and chefs, always aiming to understand the soul of a place through its food.
This approach informs every Cin Cin experience. Thoughtful, research-driven, and beautifully crafted, Ruba’s work invites guests to see food not just as sustenance, but as a lens into culture, history, and identity. Through her writing, featured in Dolce Magazine and Condé Nast Traveller, and her storytelling, Ruba encourages a deeper understanding of culture, through food, stories, and lived traditions.
